Kayser is a handsome 7 yr old Doberman. He came to BVNS Leesburg in late December basically unable to walk and exhibiting neck pain.
MRI identified a severe disc extrusion causing 70% external cord compression and severe internal cord injury.
A C5-C6 ventral slot decompression surgery was performed.
The video was taken about 5 weeks following surgery.
He is doing amazing!
We are so thankful to the owners for allowing us to give Kayser his best chance at a normal life and we are also thankful to Tally Oaks Veterinary Service for sending Kayser to us for evaluation and care.
