Phantom’s dad noticed that Phantom didn’t want to go up the stairs, didn’t want to play and was painful. His condition worsened and his primary care veterinarian, Dr. Hallstrom of Dog & Cat Hospital, referred Phantom to BVNS Richmond.
An MRI revealed herniation of discs which caused moderate to severe left-sided spinal cord compression. Dr. Higginbotham performed surgery and the next morning, Phantom was comfortable and walking!
Here is Phantom and his family at his 6 week recheck. Phantom’s Grandparents even helped out by doggie-sitting for him during the recovery period. It was a full family affair!
