Rudy

Rudy is a Dachshund who was referred to BVNS Rockville by Canal Clinic for severe neck pain and progressive difficulty walking and using all 4 of his limbs. An MRI examination showed that the cause was degenerative disc disease in his cervical spine. Dr. Lipitz performed surgery to alleviate these disc herniations compressing his spinal cord.

Since surgery, Rudy has steadily improved at home under the care of his family. This picture is from his final recheck exam taken 2 months following surgery. He is now pain free and has regained normal neurological function in all limbs.

Rudy’s owner said a heartfelt thank you to us today “for saving his life”. We are thrilled that he feels so wonderful and his recovery has been such a success.
