Meet Spiderman. He is a happy 6 year old dachshund who came to see Dr. Higginbotham at BVNS Richmond when he started to become weak and began having difficulty walking.

An MRI was performed and revealed a disk herniation with marked left-sided spinal cord compression. Dr. Higginbotham performed a hemilaminectomy surgery to remove the compression.

This is Spiderman at his 6 week post op appointment. He has done wonderfully since surgery, is pain free, and is getting around great! We are so happy that he has had such a successful recovery!
