Cody was referred to BVNS Atlanta by Cobb Emergency Veterinary Clinic and Kennesaw Mountain Veterinary Services in August for a life threatening seizure condition called status epilepticus. On examination by Dr. Neary, Cody was unable to stand and barely conscious. Cody’s MRI and spinal fluid analysis did not reveal a cause for his recent seizure activity, leaving primary / idiopathic epilepsy as his most likely diagnosis. Cody was hospitalized for aggressive seizure management and supportive care.
This is Cody and his owner at his 2 week recheck with Dr. Neary. He is back to his happy self and seizure free at this time! We wish Cody all the best in the future and hope he remains seizure free!
