When Fergie came to BVNS in Springfield, she was unable to jump and was having difficulty navigating steps and curbs. After an MRI, Fergie was diagnosed with COMS (Caudal Occipital Malformation Syndrome), a common malformation of the breed. Dr. Bush and Dr. Barker performed a FMD (Foramen Magnum Decompression) to alleviate compression.
This picture was taken the day Fergie was discharged, which just happened to be her birthday! Her mom was so happy to have her home and celebrate, but Fergie was happy to go home and sleep!
She truly stole the hearts of everyone at BVNS.
