Gunner came to BVNS Atlanta in September after becoming acutely paraplegic (paralyzed) in the back end. Dr. Neary preformed a neurologic exam and suspected disc disease.

An MRI was performed and confirmed a type 1 disc extrusion causing extensive spinal cord compression. A hemilaminectomy was performed and Gunner was able to go home a couple days later.

This is Gunner at his two-week post-operative exam. He is back to his happy, energetic self and has been showing so much improvement since his surgery! Today Gunner is pain free and getting back to his normal life with his family! We are thrilled with his progress! Thank you, Dr. Craven, at Banfield Pet Hospital for sending us Gunner.
