Little Maddy is a repeat offender! She first was seen at BVNS Leesburg by Dr. Jarboe in January when an MRI revealed a disc extrusion causing massive spinal cord compression. A left hemilaminectomy was performed in order to decompress her spinal cord and Maddy recovered nicely.
Maddy returned in May to BVNS Leesburg dragging her left pelvic limb. Another MRI was performed which revealed that Maddy had another disc extrusion causing moderate cord compression. This time Maddy received a right hemilaminectomy.
This picture was taken at her second suture removal with us. Maddy is such a sweet loving girl, always giving kisses, even when she didn’t feel well. Dr. Jarboe and the Leesburg team wishes Ms. Maddy luck and best wishes for the future!
