Meet Riley!

In February, Riley was referred by Dr. Schneider atPeachtree Hills Animal Hospital┬áto our Woodstock location for seizures. Dr. Neary’s examination determined that Riley was disoriented and tended to orient to the left while an MRI of his brain displayed a massive extra-axial cerebral mass that was causing Riley’s symptoms.

Almost a week later, Dr. Neary performed a craniotomy to surgically remove the mass. Riley was hospitalized with us during recovery and went home a few days later.

We are happy to report the pathology on the mass came back as a meningioma which means Riley has an excellent prognosis! Here is Riley 24 hours after his brain surgery. He’s bright, alert and eating like a champ!
