Meet Riley!

In February, Riley was referred by Dr. Schneider atPeachtree Hills Animal Hospital to our Woodstock location for seizures. Dr. Neary’s examination determined that Riley was disoriented and tended to orient to the left while an MRI of his brain displayed a massive extra-axial cerebral mass that was causing Riley’s symptoms.

Almost a week later, Dr. Neary performed a craniotomy to surgically remove the mass. Riley was hospitalized with us during recovery and went home a few days later.

We are happy to report the pathology on the mass came back as a meningioma which means Riley has an excellent prognosis! Here is Riley 24 hours after his brain surgery. He’s bright, alert and eating like a champ!
