Romeo

Romeo came to BVNS Atlanta with a history of severe back pain that wasn’t improving with medical management. After a thorough neurologic exam with Dr. Neary, an MRI of Romeo’s spine was recommended to see what was causing his discomfort.

The MRI revealed that Romeo had a disc extrusion at L2-L3 causing severe spinal cord compression. Dr. Neary performed a hemilaminectomy at the affected site to alleviate Romeo’s pain.

Here is Romeo at his 2-week staple removal – he has been doing great at home and is now pain free! We wish Romeo all the best in his continued recovery. Thank you to Dr. Handley at Trickum Ridge Animal Hospital for referring Romeo to us. 🤗
