Romeo came to BVNS Atlanta with a history of severe back pain that wasn’t improving with medical management. After a thorough neurologic exam with Dr. Neary, an MRI of Romeo’s spine was recommended to see what was causing his discomfort.

The MRI revealed that Romeo had a disc extrusion at L2-L3 causing severe spinal cord compression. Dr. Neary performed a hemilaminectomy at the affected site to alleviate Romeo’s pain.
