Say hello to “foxy” Roxy! Roxy came to BVNS on September 18th for back pain and hind limb paralysis; she was completely unable to walk on her own. We quickly assessed Roxy’s status and began the imaging process. Her MRI revealed intervertebral disc disease with significant spinal cord compression at L1-2 and L2-3. Roxy had back surgery that day. She showed improvement at her suture removal appointment two weeks later and her family emailed us videos of her progress, too. This is Roxy at her 6-week recheck appointment with Dr. Akin. She looks and feels great, and is able to walk (and run!) on her own. We are so happy to see Roxy doing well!
