Dr. Trub, a proud Texan, received a B.S. in Animal Behavior from Southwestern University and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her undergraduate research in the field of neuroscience is what first sparked her interest in neurology. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery as well as a neurology internship at a large private practice in Connecticut. Dr. Trub first came to BVNS as a neurology intern and has since completed a neurology residency. She is now a staff neurologist with BVNS. Her professional interests include neurosurgery and intracranial neoplasia. She also enjoys teaching neurology to students and other veterinarians. Dr. Trub is married and has two spunky cairn terriers, McAllister and Emma, and a cat named Thomas. In her spare time, she will be found reading, cooking and enjoying the outdoors.
