This happy guy is Henry. When Henry was transferred to BVNS Atlanta from Cherokee Veterinary Emergency Clinic, he was weak in all four legs and unable to walk.

Dr. Akin performed a neurologic exam and an MRI which showed disc disease and spinal cord compression at C2-3. Henry had a surgical procedure called a ventral slot to remove the disc material compressing the spinal cord.

With some tender love and care from his family, Henry had a speedy recovery. This is Henry at his suture removal visit. Henry walked in the building with his head held high and his tail wagging.
