This beautiful dachshund named Bella B came to BVNS Atlanta after experiencing some difficulty using her hind end. After a week of medical management, Bella B’s condition had worsened and she wasn’t able to use her back end at all.
Suspecting disc disease, Dr. Neary performed an MRI. The MRI confirmed a disc extrusion causing severe spinal cord compression. A hemilaminectomy was preformed and she went home the next day!
This is Bella B pictured at her two- week post-operative and staple removal appointment. Doesn’t she look so good? Her recovery has been nothing short of wonderful and her owners are so overjoyed.
