When Bingo’s mom left for work one day, he was doing fine. But when she got home, she noticed Bingo was dragging his back legs. She took Bingo to the Greater Atlanta Veterinary Medical Group where Dr. Olson referred them to BVNS Atlanta.

After a thorough neurological exam, an MRI was recommended and performed. Bingo was diagnosed with thoracolumbar intervertebral disc disease and surgery was recommended. Dr. Akin performed a hemilaminectomy and decompressed Bingo’s spinal cord.

Two weeks later at his suture removal, he was able to tuck his legs underneath him and push himself up. At his 6 week recheck, Bingo was able to walk and doing great!
