Cooper came to BVNS Richmond as he was experiencing neck pain, and loss of use of his legs; also known as tetraparesis. Dr. Higginbotham completed an evaluation where an MRI of Cooper’s cervical spine revealed multiple herniated disks. Cooper had a surgical ventral slot decompression which was successful in removing a large amount of fibrous disk material.
Cooper has completed his 6 week post op evaluation and shows no signs of weakness or in-coordination. Check him out smiling with his family!
