Gracie came to BVNS Richmond for surgical decompression after she was diagnosed with multiple herniated discs.

Dr. Higginbotham performed a left and right hemilaminectomy in order to alleviate her symptoms of ataxia, weakness and back pain.

Gracie was hardly able to move her limbs before surgery. Now, she is fully ambulatory with minimal deficits. Her recovery has been remarkable and we wish her the very best in the future!
