Hannah is a 5 year old Basset Hound Mix Breed dog, pictured here with Dr. Lipitz and her owner. She was referred to BVNS Rockville from Dr. Krishna at Silver Spring Animal Hospital for severe neck pain.

Dr. Lipitz diagnosed a severe C2-3 disc herniation as the cause for her pain via an MRI examination and performed ventral slot surgery that same day. Hannah has made a speedy recovery.

Here she is at her 2 week post op recheck evaluation. She is now pain free and walking normally. Her owner and our staff at BVNS are thrilled with her recovery!
