This beautiful beagle is Mandy. She came to BVNS Atlanta in 2016 for cluster seizures. After a neurological exam and MRI with Dr. Akin, Mandy was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy. Mandy came back to BVNS in October for seizure activity but after adjustments to her anticonvulsant medications, she started feeling much better!

Here is Mandy at her 6 month recheck exam with Dr. Akin. She has been seizure free for almost an entire year now! Mandy has been living the good life, complete with plenty of belly rubs and love from her amazing family. We are beyond thrilled to see Mandy doing so well and continue to wish her the best in the future.
