Mickey came to BVNS Richmond from Chesapeake, Virginia. He was referred for facial paralysis and a raised third eyelid with redness. Mickey was diagnosed with focal enlargement and contrast enhancement of left facial nerve with neoplasia, infection, or autoimmune inflammation all possibilities.

With medical management, Mickey is vastly improved with only a slight left head tilt. As proof of his improvement, he’s been showing off by catching treats! Here he is getting some love from Dr. Neary at his recheck.
