Oliver came to BVNS Atlanta for vestibular signs. He had a left head tilt, head tremor, moderate vestibular ataxia, and rapid rotary nystagmus.
With diagnostic MR imaging (MRI), a spinal tap and infectious disease testing, we were able to give Oliver’s owner’s a diagnosis of meningomyelitis of unknown etiology (MUE).
After his 3 month recheck with Dr. Neary, Oliver is doing fantastic and back to his normal self. He is a happy, sweet dog. He has lost a little weight, taking longer walks and back to moving at full speed.
