We first met Polo at BVNS Rockville in early October when he was referred to us for severe pain and lethargy. Polo could not move without crying out in pain. Dr. Lipitz localized the source of his pain to his neck (cervical spine) and performed an MRI Examination which diagnosed the cause for his pain as a spinal infection called discospondylitis. Dr. Lipitz began treating Polo with antibiotic therapy and medications.
