We first met Punky in May 2017 after she was referred to our Atlanta location for neck pain and mild front left limb lameness. Dr. Akin performed a neurologic examination and suspected cervical disc disease. An MRI was performed and revealed mild multilevel intervertebral disc disease.

Punky’s family started her on a course of medical management and strict rest. Over the past several months she has been doing very well. This is Punky at her most recent recheck with Dr. Akin in January. She is currently pain-free and back to her happy self! We are beyond thrilled to see Punky doing so well and continue to wish her the best in the future.
