This sweet girl is Roxie. She came to BVNS Atlanta in October when her owner noticed that she was very wobbly in her hind legs when walking. After a neurological examination with Dr. Neary, an MRI was recommended. The MRI showed that Roxie had a type 1 disc extrusion causing moderate-to-severe spinal cord compression. Surgical decompression was recommended and Dr. Neary performed a hemilaminectomy surgery the same day. Roxie was able to go home the very next day!

Here she is at her 2 week recheck visit. She has been recovering wonderfully at home and is already back to normal! We are delighted to see Roxie doing so well and wish her the best as she continues to recover.
