Sawyer is a 4 year old cock-a-poo who was referred to BVNS Rockville by Burke Veterinary Clinic in January. Sawyer came to see us for sudden weakness and incoordination in his hind legs and severe back pain.

Dr. Lipitz diagnosed an acute disc herniation and performed surgery that day to alleviate the compression on his spinal cord. Sawyer made a wonderful recovery and was back to normal at his 6 week post op recheck. Sawyer’s dad sent us this adorable picture of him relaxing and enjoying life!
