Today we would like to share a letter that we recently received from a fellow Veterinarian whose beautiful dog, Amara, we treated over 2 years ago.

Dear Dr. Bush,

Thank you for the wonderful service you and your staff provide.

On March 20, 2010, my dog Amara injured her spinal cord. From your prompt response to my frantic outreach (my friend Dr. Hansen e-mailed you), to Dr. Jarboe’s excellent diagnostics and skill and your staff’s compassionate care despite the after-hours on a Saturday… I can’t thank you enough. I had my girl an additional 2-1/2 years because of your excellent care.

On August 18th, I again had to use your services, this time it was your diagnostic services. I was in to confirm the diagnosis of nasal cancer, although I also got the additional information of a prognosis of maybe weeks, for which honestly I wasn’t ready. But again, Amara and I were treated compassionately and given great care. You have a stellar staff at your facility.

I am writing to tell you that as of two weeks ago, on August 30th, my beloved Amara is gone. She was the best there ever was.
