This sweet boy is Coco. Coco returned to BVNS Atlanta last week for his suture removal and is doing great!

Two weeks prior, when Coco came to see Dr. Akin, he could not move his back legs. After examination and MRI, he was diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease with disc extrusion at L3-L4 which required a hemilaminectomy.

The first two weeks after surgery can be the hardest, but seeing Coco walk in with a happy, wagging tail showed us he was handling recovery just fine. We are so pleased and can’t wait to see him at his 6-week re-check.
