This suave dachshund is Leo. Leo came to BVNS Atlanta after becoming paraplegic (paralyzed in the back end). Dr. Neary preformed a neurologic exam and suspected disc disease. An MRI confirmed a type 1-disc extrusion at L2-L3 causing spinal cord compression.

A hemilaminectomy was performed and Leo went home a couple days later! This is Leo pictured at his two-week post-operative exam. He is already back on his feet! His recovery has been smooth and quick.
