Sunny came to BVNS Springfield 6 weeks ago and was unable to walk. An MRI revealed a large herniated disc and his prognosis was 50/50, even with surgery. The family and Dr. Barker wanted to give Sunny the chance and he has really proved to be a miracle dog. He is pictured here at 6 week recheck, walking (although wobbly) and comfortable on no medications!

We are all thrilled and could not have asked for a better outcome. His family has worked really hard with him with physical therapy and monitoring him closely. We expect him to return to normal or nearly normal!
