tanner_fixThis sweet little Dachshund is Tanner. When Tanner came to BVNS Atlanta, his back legs and tail were completely paralyzed. An MRI showed intervertebral disc disease that was causing spinal cord compression. Dr. Aiken performed a hemilaminectomy surgery to decompress his spinal cord.

Just look at Tanner 2 weeks later at his suture removal; he is all smiles and so are we. Tanner is walking again, although he is still moderately wobbly and his owners are ecstatic with his progress.
