Christian is a 6.5 year old Keeshond that came to BVNS in Rockville in August by Olney-Sandy Spring Veterinary Hospital and Skylos Sports Medicine for neck pain and weakness when walking. Dr. Lipitz performed a cervical MRI examination and diagnosed a disc herniation. To alleviate the pressure on his spinal cord caused by this disc herniation, Dr. Lipitz performed a ventral slot surgery. Christian has made a wonderful recovery since surgery. Here he is at his final 6 week post operative examination pictured with his family! They report he is now walking better than ever and is pain free.
