Dr. Day grew up in upstate New York and obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island. Afterwards, she attended veterinary school at Auburn University (War Eagle!). Then, she completed a small animal rotating internship in Tampa, FL, a specialty neurology internship in Dallas, TX and a three-year residency at the University of Florida. After Dr. Day’s residency, she worked as a neurologist in Dallas, TX for a few years before deciding to brave the cold and move back to the northeast to be closer to family. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, working out and spending time with her boyfriend, dog named Callie and cat named Sandwich (Sami for short)!
